 ZB trend for period 2004-2007

The starting price of ZB trend stock on Jan. 1, 2004 was €102,22 while the price on Dec. 31, 2004 was €108,98. Since the selling price of Variable Risk Landscape depends completely on the price of ZB trend stock on the day of the sale we keep monitoring continuously the value curve of ZB trend fund. In the period 2004-2007 several plunges of global stock markets have been observed:

Summer of 2006

Summer's never an easy time for a stock investor, and the year 2006 was no exception. "Plus you have the confluence of rising rates, rising energy prices, the events in the Middle East, the consumer getting squeezed, the decline in the housing sector and the effects of the four-year presidential cycle" said Paul Levine, president at money manager Lifetime Financial Services.

The Roller Coaster on Feb. 27, 2007

The roller coaster began on Feb. 27, when China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index plunged 8.8 percent. It was China's biggest one-day drop in a decade. At the same time, other Asian indexes caught the jitters. Japan lost half a percentage point; Hong Kong was down 1.8 percent. In Europe, where trading opens after the Asian markets close, the drop was sharper, down 2.6 percent by close of business. And in the U.S., the plunge was sharper still, down 416 points, or 3.3 percent, wiping out all the gains so far in 2007.

August 2007 Plunge

Stock markets worldwide slumped Thursday Aug. 8, amid mounting fears that the crisis in the subprime mortgage lending market is leading to a more generalized credit crisis.
